Johnson says personal attacks at committee meeting ‘not a good look’

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) chided lawmakers Friday for a meeting the night before that devolved into a partisan shouting match between committee members and included personal attacks about intelligence and appearance.

Johnson told reporters that the incident was “not a good look for Congress� and that members need to treat one another with “dignity and respect� despite their political differences.
